FAQs
Planning a wedding comes with so many questions. Here are the answers to the ones I’m most often asked.
Why do I need a content creator?
Because you shouldn’t have to wait to relive your wedding day. While your photographer and videographer take time to carefully create timeless work, I provide instant memories. Within 24–72 hours you’ll have hundreds of raw photos and videos, plus a highlight reel, ready to enjoy and share.
What’s the difference between a photographer, videographer, and content creator?
-
Photographer – Creates timeless images of your day, focusing on detail and artistry
-
Videographer – Produces a long-form, cinematic film of your wedding, often in landscape format
-
Content Creator – Captures raw, candid, short-form content in portrait format, designed for social media and fast delivery
How quickly do I get my content from a content creator?
All raw content is delivered within 24–72 hours, depending on the season and package. Highlight reels are included in this turnaround too.
Do you edit the content?
You’ll receive a highlight reel and a selection of lightly edited photos. All other content is delivered raw so you can relive the moments as they happened.
Do you capture the ceremony and speeches in full as a content creator?
Yes – I capture them in full, though I make small cuts in the files to keep them manageable in size. Nothing important will ever be missed.
Does a content creator replace my photographer or videographer?
No – I don’t replace them at all. I work alongside them and love collaborating on the day. My role is very different. Photographers and videographers create timeless, long-form, cinematic work, often in landscape format. I capture short-form, behind-the-scenes content in portrait format – perfect for reliving and sharing instantly. Think of me as an addition to your team, never a replacement.
Do you just do one highlight reel?
Every package includes one highlight reel alongside all of the raw content. Additional reels can be added at an additional cost to cover editing time.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes – payments can be split into instalments. A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 4 weeks before your wedding.
Can I choose the music for my highlight reel?
Yes! I want your highlight reel to feel like you. If you have a favourite song, TikTok sound, or vibe in mind, let me know before the day and I’ll create your reel around it. If you’re not sure, I’ll choose something that fits the energy and style of your wedding.
Will my guests notice you filming?
Not at all. I blend in like a guest and keep things relaxed and discreet. Most couples say they hardly notice me, which is exactly how I like it – the best content is captured when people don’t feel like they’re on camera.
How many photos and videos will I get?
There’s no set number – I capture as much as possible throughout the day. On average, couples receive hundreds of raw photos and video clips, plus their highlight reel, within 24–72 hours.
Do you cover bridal prep and groom prep at the same time?
If you’d like both covered, I recommend adding a second shooter so we don’t miss a thing.
Do you back up the content?
Yes – everything I capture is backed up to ensure it’s safe. You’ll also receive a link to download all your files as soon as they’re ready.
Do you need a shot list as a content creator?
No – I capture the natural flow of the day and make sure all the key moments are covered. But if there are specific details or moments you’d love included (like a surprise dance or a certain guest reaction), just let me know before the day.
